Roll Away The Stone
Scripture: John 11:39–40
Jesus told the people to roll away the stone—but only He could bring Lazarus back to life. There’s a partnership here. We are responsible for obedience; God is responsible for resurrection. Often, the stone represents fear, doubt, or control. Jesus invites us to do what we can so He can do what only He can.
Reflective Questions:
1. What “stone” might God be asking me to roll away?
2. Am I waiting for God to act while avoiding obedience?
3. Where do I need to trust God with the impossible?
Prayer:
God, show me what I need to surrender today. Give me the courage to obey even when it feels risky. I trust You to do what I cannot. I choose faith over fear and obedience over comfort. Amen.
Action Step:
Identify one practical step of obedience God has been prompting you toward—and take it.
