Day 39

Paul had a principle: he wanted to go where the gospel had not yet gone. He did not want to build on another man's foundation. That is still one of the most important prayers a church movement can pray. Not just to grow larger in the places we already are, not to grow from others’ labors or church members, but to push outward to the lost. We want to reach people that others are not reaching.

SCRIPTURE

"...to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's sphere of accomplishments." 2 Corinthians 10:16 (NKJV)

PRAYER

Father, keep our vision fixed on the horizon. Let us never be satisfied with the territory we already occupy. Let there always be a restlessness in this movement, a holy drive to go beyond where we have been, to reach the unreached, and to plant where others have not planted. Give us the frontier heart of the Apostle Paul. In Jesus' name, amen.
