Day 48

The charge given to the leaders of God's people is a shepherding charge. That means protecting the flock from spiritual wolves, and from divisive influences that sneak in quietly and do enormous damage. We are praying today for an anointing of discernment over every Praise Chapel leader. Not a spirit of suspicion, but a genuine gift of wisdom that keeps the sheep safe and the fellowship healthy.

SCRIPTURE

"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood." Acts 20:28 (NKJV)

PRAYER

Lord, give our pastors and leaders the gift of discernment. Let them see clearly what is building the flock and what is trying to harm your church. Give us all the courage to protect the sheep even when it is costly. Keep them personally guarded as well, so that what they have seen and experienced of You never departs from their own hearts. Keep the shepherds and the sheep. Amen.
