Day 21

Jun 21, 2026

Praise Chapel has always been a rescue mission. We believe that the church is a body and a fender shop where a bunch of wrecks are being worked on. The church is a hospital where sick people are being made well. That is to be the permanent identity of this movement. We exist to reach the lost, the addicted, the forgotten, and the cast-aside people of society. But rescue missions require rescuers who feel the urgency.

Today, we are praying for a fresh breaking of our hearts for the people all around us who do not know Jesus. The harvest is plentiful. The laborers must feel the weight of that.

SCRIPTURE

"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.'” Matthew 9:37

PRAYER

Jesus, break our hearts for the lost. Let every pastor and every member in this fellowship feel the weight of the people around them who are heading into eternity without You. Let that weight produce urgency. Let that urgency produce action. We want to be faithful rescuers, not comfortable church attenders. Amen.

“And Jesus said to Simon, ‘Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.’” Luke 5:10
