Day 37
God has a long history of using people whom others have overlooked. The shepherd boy becomes the king, and the fishermen become apostles. The people pushed to the margins become the pioneers of the next great move of God. Praise Chapel has always been a place for those people. The ones who did not fit somewhere else. The ones who were told they were too risky. Today, we are praying that we never stop being that kind of fellowship.
SCRIPTURE
"For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel." Zechariah 4:10 (NKJV)
PRAYER
Lord, keep us from despising the day of small things. Let us see the potential in the outcast, the unlikely. Continue to use this movement to take people that others have passed by. To go for the underdog and to see You turn them into anointed church-planting tools. We celebrate the small beginnings because we know what You can do with a faithful yes. Amen.
