The Glory That Sends You
Scripture:
Isaiah 60:1–2
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you... the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.”
Devotional:
God’s glory isn’t just something we experience — it’s something we carry. When you’ve been transformed by grace, your life becomes a beacon. You’re not just reflecting His glory — you’re sent with it. The world doesn’t need more rule-followers. It needs people who’ve been radically changed by grace and aren’t afraid to shine.
The old glory kept people at a distance. The new glory invites them in. That’s what Jesus does — He makes us living proof of restoration, walking evidence of redemption. Don’t just receive the glory. Carry it. Reflect it. Shine it.
Reflection Questions:
1. Who needs to see God’s glory through my life right now?
2. Am I letting fear or shame dim what God is trying to shine through me?
3. How can I carry the glory of grace in everyday places?
Prayer:
God, thank You that I don’t just get to witness Your glory — I get to carry it. Let my life be a testimony of what You’ve done. May people see You when they see me. I don’t want to hide. I want to shine.
Action Step:
Ask God to highlight one person you can encourage, serve, or share your story with this week — then follow through.
