Do You Love Me?
Scripture:
John 21:15
“Jesus said, ‘Do you love me?’”
Devotional:
After everything, the resurrection, the miracles, the failures, the restoration… Jesus brings it back to one question.
Do you love me?
Not “Did you perform well?”
Not “Did you get everything right?”
Not “Are you qualified?”
Just love.
Because everything flows from that place. Calling, obedience, faithfulness, all of it starts with love. Jesus restores Peter not by correcting his mistakes, but by reconnecting his heart.
The week after Easter isn’t about striving to prove anything. It’s about realigning your love.
Reflective Questions:
1. Is my relationship with God rooted in love or obligation?
2. What does loving Jesus actually look like in my daily life?
Prayer:
Jesus, bring me back to love. Strip away performance, pressure, and distraction. I don’t want to just serve You, I want to love You deeply and genuinely. Let everything in my life flow from that place.
Action Step:
Do one simple act today that reflects your love for Jesus, whether it’s worship, obedience, or serving someone else.
