Get In Alignment

Scripture:

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”

Submission isn’t control, discomfort, or inferiority. It’s alignment—placing your life under God’s order so your life can move in God’s power.

Wives submit. Husbands lead and sacrifice. Together they unite. Marriage isn’t about superiority—it’s about structure and flow. A house without structure falls. A believer without alignment drifts.

And the bigger truth? This whole passage points beyond marriage:

We, the Church, are the Bride. Christ is the Groom.

Submission positions your heart where God can shape you.

It’s voluntary.

It’s humble.

It’s powerful.

It’s you saying, “I want Your way, not mine.”

Reflective Questions:

1. What area of my life is out of alignment with God?

2. Where am I clinging to control instead of trusting Him?

3. What practical things in my life would change if I actually arranged my life under Christ?

Prayer:

Lord, align my heart to Yours. Pull down my pride, fear, and excuses. Help me walk in Your order so I can walk in Your blessing. Amen.
