Get Behind Him

Key Scripture:

John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life…”

Devotional:

If Jesus is the way, then He sets the direction. We don’t walk ahead and ask Him to catch up. We get behind Him.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus means letting Him lead, even when it disrupts our preferences. When we pray in the Spirit, we align with Him. We come into agreement with what He is doing. He becomes the pioneer, the One carving the path, and we follow. Revival doesn’t happen when we ask God to bless our agenda. It happens when we align with His.

Following Jesus daily is a flesh vs. spirit war. The flesh wants control. The spirit wants surrender. The more you fix your eyes on Him, the clearer the path becomes.

Reflect:

1. Am I trying to lead God?

2. Where is my flesh resisting His direction?

3. Do I truly see Him as the Way?

Prayer:

Jesus, I choose to get behind You. Lead my steps. Align my desires with Yours. Teach me to follow closely, not casually.

Action Step:

Pray in the Spirit for a few intentional minutes today, asking God to align your heart with His will.
