Open Hands

Scripture: Psalm 143:10
“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”
It’s easy to ask God to bless our plans. It’s different to ask Him to lead us according to HIS plans. Surrender is living with open hands. It’s saying, “God, this is what I want, but more than anything, I want what You want.”
We don’t want to hold so tightly to our own plans, preferences, or expectations that we miss where God is leading us.
Application:
Before making decisions today, pause and pray: “Lord, what do You want?”
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to do Your will. Help me loosen my grip on my own plans and follow wherever You lead. Amen.
