Peace In The Waiting
Scripture — Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Devotional
Waiting stretches us. It exposes our fears. It tests our trust. But waiting is not wasted. Waiting is where God renews, rebuilds, and strengthens us from the inside out.
Peace is not only found when the answer finally comes. Peace is what God gives you while you are still waiting.Advent reminds us that waiting is part of faith — and peace grows in that space.
You may feel like nothing is happening — but God is forming endurance, trust, and strength within you right now.
Reflection
1. What am I waiting on God for?
2. How has waiting shaped me more than I expected?
Prayer
God, waiting is difficult. But today I choose to trust You with the timing, the outcome, and the process. Renew my strength as I wait on You. Amen.
