The Spirit Gives The Words

Scripture: Matthew 10:20

“For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”

One of the biggest fears people have is not knowing what to say. But Jesus already addressed that. He reminded His disciples that when the moment comes, it won’t just be them speaking. The Spirit will speak through them.

You don’t have to have all the perfect answers. You don’t need a script. The Holy Spirit is not just power to feel, He is a helper who speaks through you in real time.

This takes pressure off of us and puts dependence back on Him. When we trust the Holy Spirit, we stop overthinking and start obeying.

1. Do I hesitate to speak because I feel unprepared?

2. Do I trust the Holy Spirit to guide my words in the moment?

3. What is one situation where I need to rely on Him instead of myself?

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I trust You to guide my words. Take away the pressure to be perfect and help me be obedient. Speak through me in a way that brings life, truth, and love. Amen.
