Rekindled Fire

Apr 9, 2026

Scripture:

Luke 24:32

“Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road…?”

Devotional:

Two disciples walked with Jesus and didn’t realize it until later. But even before recognition, something was happening internally. Their hearts were burning. You can be in a season where things don’t fully make sense yet, but your spirit knows something is shifting. That inner stirring matters.

After resurrection, Jesus reignites hearts before He reveals everything. He restores passion before clarity. He awakens hunger before direction.

If your fire feels low, it doesn’t mean God is absent. It might mean He’s drawing you back into conversation.

Reflective Questions:

1. What has been stirring in my heart lately?

2. When did I last feel spiritually alive and engaged?

3. Am I creating space for God to speak to me?

Prayer:

God, rekindle what’s gone dim in me. Stir my heart again for Your presence, Your Word, and Your purpose. Even if I don’t have full clarity yet, I trust what You’re doing inside me.

Action Step:

Read a passage of Scripture slowly today and sit with it. Pay attention to what stands out.
