Pray For Others
Scripture:
“Be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:18
Devotional:
Prayer is not only about you. It’s about others. Paul reminds us to pray for all God’s people — not just our friends or family, but even those we might overlook. When you lift someone else up in prayer, you step into a form of spiritual warfare that releases heaven’s power on their behalf.
Interceding for others builds compassion and unity. It’s one of the most selfless acts of love — you’re fighting battles they may not even know they’re in. And the beauty is, while you pray for others, God strengthens you too.
Reflect:
1. Who in my life might need prayer but hasn’t asked for it?
2. How can I build a habit of interceding for my church family?
3. What does it mean to fight for someone spiritually?
Prayer:
Father, give me eyes to see who needs prayer today. Help me carry others in love and faith, trusting that my prayers make a difference. Use me as a vessel of compassion and intercession for Your people.
Action Step:
Message or call one person from church today and ask, “How can I be praying for you this week?” Then actually pray for them — right there if possible.
