Restoration Flows Through Connection

Aug 29, 2025

Scripture:

Joel 2:25

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”

Devotional:

God promises restoration, but it’s not automatic. Restoration comes through connection. Just as a home can’t receive electricity without being plugged in, we can’t receive God’s restoring power if we aren’t connected to Him.

When we remain in Him, He restores what was broken, wasted, or lost. Restoration isn’t just about fixing what’s wrong - it’s about bringing us into greater wholeness with Him. His presence fills us with hope, His Spirit gives us strength, and His power brings life where there was once emptiness.

Reflective Questions:

1. What specific areas of my life need restoration right now?

2. Have I been trying to restore myself apart from God’s power?

3. How can I remain connected?

Prayer:

God, thank You that You are the Restorer of broken places. I choose to stay connected to You so that nothing blocks the flow of Your restoring power. Heal and restore every part of me that has been disconnected, and let my life bring glory to You.

Action Step: Write down one area where you need God’s restoration. Pray over it daily this week, staying connected to Him and trusting His timing.
