Still Willing, Still Hungry
Scripture:
“Now then, just as the Lord promised, He has kept me alive for forty-five years… So here I am today, eighty-five years old!” Joshua 14:10
Devotional:
At 85, Caleb was still hungry for what God promised. He didn’t slow down spiritually just because time passed. His desire didn’t fade — it matured.
Fasting reawakens hunger. It reminds us that spiritual appetite doesn’t have an age limit. Whether you’re new in faith or seasoned, God still has more for you.
Reflection:
1. Has my hunger for God grown or faded over time?
2. What do I need God to reawaken in me?
Prayer:
God, renew my hunger for You. Don’t let comfort or routine dull my desire. I want to keep pursuing You with expectancy and faith. Amen.
Fast Focus:
Ask God to restore spiritual hunger where it’s grown quiet.
