The Church Needs Your Fire
Scripture:
1 Corinthians 12:27
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
Devotional:
Jay mentioned in his message: as our church expands toward Māʻili, the question isn’t just “What is God doing?” but “How can I be part of it?” Being all in doesn’t only apply to our individual walk—it shapes the collective strength of the church. When one member is burning, others catch the flame. When one stays lukewarm, the body feels it too.
Don’t underestimate what your yes can unlock—for you and for others. Whether it’s prayer, serving, giving, or inviting, you have a role. The fire in you might be what lights up someone else’s faith.
Questions:
1. How is God prompting me to take ownership of my church’s mission?
2. What spiritual gifts or passions do I need to offer again?
3. Am I a spark or a wet blanket in my community of faith?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me see where I belong in this next move. I don’t want to spectate—I want to participate. Use my life to build up others. Amen.
Action Step:
Ask a leader how you can serve or give toward the Māʻili expansion. Take one step forward, even if it’s small.
