Stand Up and Go!

Scripture:

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

Isaiah 6:8

Devotional:

Pastor Greg said it plainly: we are called to stand up and go, not sit down. If he had stayed inside Center Church, he never would have stepped into the ministry God had prepared for him in Hilo. Faith requires movement.

Fear often whispers, “Stay where it’s safe.” But obedience requires a yes - even when we don’t know the outcome. The call of God is not about staying in comfort but about stepping into mission.

Questions:

1. Where in your life are you “sitting” when God is asking you to “go”?

2. What step of faith is God asking you to take right now?

Prayer:

Lord, I want to say yes to Your call. Help me rise up, leave fear behind, and walk in obedience to You. Amen.

Action Step:

Say yes to one small act of obedience today. It could be reaching out to someone, serving in a new way, or offering encouragement to a stranger.
