Revival Starts With A Cry
Key Scripture:
Habakkuk 3:2
Habakkuk prayed, “Lord, I have heard of Your fame; renew them in our day.” His prayer was not polished or performative. It was a genuine cry for God to move again.
Revival begins when people long deeply for God’s presence. It begins when we ask Him to do what He has always done: restore, awaken, and reveal His glory. It is not built by human effort or scheduled programming. It is birthed through hunger and prayer.
When hearts are truly open before God, heaven responds.
Reflective Questions:
1. Do I genuinely long for God’s presence?
2. When was the last time I cried out to Him with urgency?
3. Am I willing to prioritize prayer over comfort?
Prayer:
Lord, renew Your work in our day. Stir hunger within me that goes beyond routine. Let my life be marked by longing for Your presence and obedience to Your voice.
Action Step:
Spend intentional time praying out loud today, asking God to begin revival in you first.
