Restored to the Gardener
Scripture:
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Devotional:
Restoration begins with connection. A branch cannot restore itself - it must remain attached to the vine. When sin, disappointment, or busyness disconnects us from Jesus, our lives wither. But His grace draws us back, restoring us to the Gardener who gives true life.
Just like a neglected plant springs back when watered, your soul revives when you return to Him. Staying close to Jesus is not only how we grow - it’s how we are restored daily.
Reflection Questions:
1. In what ways have I tried to grow apart from God’s presence?
2. How have I seen His grace restore me when I was dry?
3. Where is He inviting me to reconnect with Him today?
Prayer:
Lord, restore my heart to stay close to You. Thank You that in You, life is never lost - it is revived.
Action Step:
Take 10 minutes to sit quietly with Jesus. Ask Him to restore any part of your heart that feels disconnected.
