Peace That’s Coming Soon

Dec 12, 2025

Scripture — Revelation 21:4

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Devotional

Advent doesn’t just look back — it looks forward. Peace came once in a manger, and peace is coming again in fullness when Jesus returns. One day there will be no more pain, loss, injustice, or sorrow.

This is our hope: Soon and very soon, Jesus is coming again.

And that promise changes how we live right now. We don’t lose heart. We don’t stop believing. We don’t give up in the waiting — because the story isn’t over yet.

Peace has come.

Peace is working now.

Peace is coming again.

Reflection

1. What helps me hold onto hope when life feels unfinished?

2. How does Jesus’ return shape the way I live today?

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for the promise of what’s still to come. When life feels heavy or incomplete, remind me that You are returning and everything will be made right. I wait with hope. Amen.
