Speak To Your Soul
Scripture: “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God…” Psalm 42:11
Devotional
David faced enemies, betrayal, uncertainty, and fear. Yet one of the most powerful things he did was talk to himself.
Instead of allowing fear to dictate his thoughts, David reminded his own soul where his hope belonged.
Sometimes victory doesn’t begin by changing your circumstances, it begins by changing the conversation happening inside your heart.
When anxiety starts speaking, answer it with God’s promises.
When fear says, “You’re alone,” remind yourself, “God is with me.”
When fear says, “You won’t make it,” answer, “The Lord is my shepherd.”
Your soul needs to hear truth just as much as your ears do.
