Shine the Light

Scripture:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Matthew 5:14

Devotional:

The world doesn’t need hidden lights - it needs shining ones. Pastor Greg reminded us that fear can keep us from shining, but Jesus said we are meant to be visible. Light has one purpose: to shine in darkness.

When you step into the harvest field, your light makes a difference. Whether through music, service, prayer, or kindness, God uses your obedience to break through someone else’s night. Don’t underestimate how powerful your light can be when fear no longer dims it.

2. How can you intentionally shine brighter this week?

Prayer:

Jesus, make me a light that cannot be hidden. Use my life to guide others to You. Amen.

This week, do one intentional act to shine your light - whether it’s serving, sharing, or simply encouraging someone who feels unseen.
