Staying Connected

May 1, 2026

Scripture:

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.” John 15:4

Devotional:

Drift doesn’t happen all at once. It happens slowly, quietly, almost unnoticeably.

Samson didn’t realize what he had lost. David, on the other hand, understood the value of God’s presence so deeply that he begged not to lose it.

Walking with the Spirit isn’t sustained by occasional moments—it’s sustained by staying connected.

Not perfectly. Not flawlessly. But intentionally.

The goal isn’t just to experience God. It’s to remain with Him.

Reflect:

1. Am I intentionally staying connected to God, or just hoping I will?

2. What has helped me stay close to Him in the past?

3. What needs to change for me to stay consistent?

Prayer:

God, I don’t want to drift from You. Help me stay connected in a real and steady way. Teach me to value Your presence above everything else.

Action Step:

Create a simple, repeatable rhythm (even 5 minutes daily) to stay connected to God.
