Reaping the New Harvest
Scripture:
”The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”
Galatians 6:8
Devotional:
The harvest is the proof of where we planted. Those who sow to the flesh reap emptiness. Those who sow to the Spirit reap life, joy, and peace that cannot be shaken. This harvest is more than temporary blessings - it’s eternal fruit. It’s a legacy that lasts beyond us.
When we commit to sowing into the new man, we are aligning with God’s eternal purpose. Our lives become testimonies of His transforming power. This is the reward: not applause, not perfection, but a Spirit-filled harvest that impacts generations and points back to Christ.
Reflection Questions:
1. What fruit do I want my life to bear long-term?
2. Am I sowing in a way that leaves a spiritual legacy for my family?
3. Where have I already seen glimpses of God’s harvest in my life?
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You that the harvest of the Spirit leads to eternal life. May my life bear fruit that honors You and draws others to Your Kingdom.
Action Step:
Write a declaration of faith over your harvest (ex: “I will sow into the Spirit and reap life.”). Speak it aloud today.
