Make Room For His Presence
Scripture: Luke 5:15–16; Mark 1:35–39
Jesus was surrounded by people who needed Him. There were crowds to teach, people to heal, and ministry to accomplish. Yet Scripture tells us He regularly withdrew to quiet places to pray.
If Jesus made prayer a priority in the middle of His ministry, how much more should we?
Prayer isn't something we squeeze into our schedules when we have extra time. It's the foundation from which everything else should flow.
A culture of prayer begins with our personal daily rhythms. Even in busy seasons, we can intentionally make room to pause, seek God, and listen for His direction.
Reflect:
What has been taking priority over my time with God, and what practical change can I make to create a consistent rhythm of prayer?
Prayer:
Jesus, teach me to prioritize Your presence over my busyness. Help me build a daily rhythm of prayer that keeps my heart connected to Yours. Amen.
