Enter With Thanksgiving

Nov 24, 2025

Scripture:

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name.” Psalm 100:4

Devotional:

Thanksgiving isn’t just a holiday — it’s a doorway. Pastor Jerome reminded us that gratitude positions our heart before God. When we choose to thank God, even before anything changes, we step into His presence. Thanksgiving opens the gate, and praise brings us into His courts.

Gratitude shifts how we see our situation. It lifts our eyes from what we lack to Who is with us. It reminds us God has been faithful every step of the way. When we enter with thanksgiving, we are declaring: “God, You’re worthy before anything else happens.”

Reflect:

1. What do I need to thank God for today, even before I see results?

2. Where is my heart entering — through worry or thanksgiving?

3. What has God brought me through this year?

Prayer:

Lord, help me enter Your presence with a grateful heart today. Teach me to thank You before I ask You. I’m choosing to step through the gate with thanksgiving. Amen.

Action:

Write down 3 things God did for you this year — big or small.
