Faith in Action

Reading: James 2:14-26; Matthew 9:27-30

Devotional:

True faith is always accompanied by action. It's not enough to simply believe; we must put our faith into practice. The woman with the issue of blood demonstrated this when she reached out to touch Jesus' robe, believing she would be healed. Jesus responded, "According to your faith let it be to you." This principle still applies today. Our lives reflect the level of our faith. If we're not satisfied with our current situation, perhaps it's time to elevate our faith and act on it.

Today, identify one area where you can put your faith into action. It might be reaching out to someone in need, taking a step toward a God-given goal, or simply praising God in the midst of a difficult situation. Remember, faith grows when we exercise it.
