Repentance Leads to Revival

Key Scripture

Acts 3:19 “Repent… Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord.”

Devotional

Awakening opens your eyes. Repentance turns your feet. Revival restores intimacy.

Every story Zech shared had a wake-up moment - the pigpen, the storm, the confrontation, the warning. But awakening alone wasn’t the end. They had to turn. James doesn’t say “feel bad.” He says humble yourself. Purify your heart. Draw near.

Repentance isn’t punishment. It’s a doorway. Sarah reminded us that repentance brings refreshment. Revival isn’t louder worship. It’s restored closeness. Conference moments fade. Daily nearness sustains.

Reflect

1. Is there something I need to turn from, not just feel bad about?

2. Have I confused emotion with transformation?

3. What would real repentance look like in my life right now?

Prayer

Jesus, I don’t want temporary emotion. I want lasting closeness. If there’s anything separating me from You, show me and give me courage to turn. Restore the joy of Your presence in my life. Awaken me daily.

Action Step

Practice confession today. Be specific. Then thank God for His nearness and grace.
