The Joy of the Master

Sep 26, 2025

Scripture:

“Come and share your master’s happiness!”

Matthew 25:23b

At the end of the parable, the faithful servants don’t just receive more responsibility—they are invited into the joy of their Master. The harvest is hard work, but the reward isn’t just in what is produced; it’s in the presence of Jesus. True joy isn’t found in results but in relationship.

When we live faithful, invested lives, we don’t just bring in the harvest - we get to experience the delight of the Lord Himself. Every soul reached, every life changed, every step of obedience brings us deeper into His joy. And this joy is our strength for the work ahead.

Reflection Questions:

1. Do I see Kingdom work as a burden, or as an invitation to share in God’s joy?

2. Am I more focused on results, or on staying connected to the heart of the Master?

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for inviting me into Your joy. Teach me to find delight not in results, but in You. May Your presence be my strength and my reward as I continue in the harvest. Amen.

Action Step:

Set aside intentional time today to simply worship God - not asking for anything, but enjoying His presence. Let His joy refresh and fuel you.
