Love Has a Name

Devotional:

Pastor Steve reminded us that God didn’t love us from a distance. Jesus didn’t stay removed from the messiness of life—He stepped into it. Love took on a name and a face. Jesus entered real conversations, real homes, and real tension. This is the kind of love God chose to show: close, present, and personal. Advent reminds us that love isn’t proven by intention alone, but by presence.

Reflect:

1. Where in my life have I experienced God’s nearness?

2. Who around me needs presence more than words right now?

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for coming close. Thank You for choosing presence over distance and relationship over convenience. Help me notice where You are at work around me and show me how to be present with others the way You are with me. Amen.
